I'm curious what a Edelbrock 3860 would sell for. Seems to be a huge spread. Its dirty from use but all the threads are in great shape.

Interested if you come up with a fair price. I’ve seen them go for various amounts, clean and dirty. I wouldn’t know what yours is worth. Have any pictures of it? Anything wrong with it at all? Thanks.

First, without a doubt, take an hour and clean it up! Even if it doesn't necessarily get more money, it'll sell quicker. I clean EVERYTHING I sell. ....that being said, if you're not sure about price, start high, but let people know you're willing to accept reasonable offers via PM. Don't get into a negotiation publicly. I've definitely listed stuff high, but openly said I wasn't sure, and to make offers via PM. When you're honest about it, most people are willing to deal, assuming they're genuinely interested. I would already be PMing with Inthuwind, lol!

People are asking $750 on eBay, but in reality they sell closer to 400-500$ in good shape.

Thanks all. That gives me a starting point.

I planned on originally putting it on my Iroc but plans have changed.
It will definitely get cleaned and rechecked before its listed.

Re: I'm curious what a Edelbrock 3860 would sell for

the 750 on ebay isnt a really good gauge the seller only gets about 600 bucks in his pocket ebay is 13 percent fees now for seller and factor the shipping cost

yrs ago i scored a original tpis base at a swap meet for 200 the older bases have larger cleaner ports compared to the newer cast i believe tpis and accel would give them a mild port job prior to selling i ve only seen tpis and accel bases have this larger cleaner port
