F.A.S.T. EFI System (30-111000) TPI

I have a Like New F.A.S.T. EFI system for a TPI setup. Comes with TPI harness with all necessary connectors that plug in to factory sensors, a wideband 02 that was an add-on. This FAST system works as it did new and is a great replacement for our factory ECMs. This uses a MAP sensor, not a MAF so install this and convert your car to a speed density setup... no more MAF. FAST part number is 30-111000. I have the original box as well.

These went for $1,500+ new... get this one for $600 shipped (OR BEST OFFER). I can take PayPal, but add 3% please. Thanks for looking!

How do you tune this thing? what software? Does it control spark?

Im very interested and have all the hard parts, was getting ready to buy an EBL flash, but I just saw this.

I cant find any literature showing features this does or doesn't have and what the tuning interface is like.

Re: F.A.S.T. EFI System (30-111000) TPI

You tune this by connecting it to your laptop and running the software from FAST. It is called C-Com WP. You can download it and look through what you can do without having the ECU connecting... just Read All Tables and find the demo.gct file under the install directory in the GCT directory. Hopefully, the software tells you what you need to know. You can download the software from my site http://www.borgx.com/downloads/C-ComWP.zip The ECU connects via a serial cable, if you only have USB ports on your computer/laptop, a cheap USB to Serial cable works just fine.

Good looking car you have there.

Can you give me a little more detail on the process necessary to convert the FI to speed density? I am interested in this system but, I have a 87 L98 motor and I want to make sure I understand everything necessary to use this before making you an offer.

Thanks.

Very easy in my opinion... you remove your MAF, remove existing wiring harness, and then get a MAP sensor, connect it to a vacuum line at the rear of your TPI and connect the wiring harness included with this system. Done.

Over simplified, absolutely, but that's the process in general.

May also be interested. Just to clarify, the harness also plugs into the distributor same as factory to control timing as well correct? Tried a Google search but didn't really find anything. How old is it? Apparently hasn't been on the market for a long time...

I don't remember. Will have to look at the harness when I get home. It is older for sure. Was manufactured in 2006. Very little use on this one though.

No connectors to the coil from the ECU. Here's the info I have from FAST. In the Catalog link, this system is page 4 (Bank-to-Bank)
