1987 V6 T5 - No noises, ran perfect!!
Originally out of an 1987 Camaro, I ran this in my 1983 Firebird for a couple years. Quiet and shifted like butter. No vibrations or anything. Honestly the best feeling T5 I've had. V6 ones usually haven't seen the abuse the V8 ones get.
14-spline, Direct bolt in for 1983-1992 Camaro and Firebird with the V6 and I believe 4-cylinder.
Will work in the same year cars with the V8 using the proper splined 10.5" clutch disk (82 S15 2.8), but isn't optimally geared for that.
Tag number 1352-181, ratios are as follows:
Reverse: 3.76
1st 4.03
2nd 2.37
3rd 1.49
4th 1.00
5th 0.76
Only issue, which never was a problem, is one of the mounting holes in the tail shaft is broken. Ran it like this for years.
Little crusty as I had a leaky dist seal for a long time.
These are getting hard to find, especially in such good internal condition.
Asking $200, or trade for thirdgen stuff.
Will ship for $75 more.
