Spohn polished "billet" aluminum strut mounts

I'm selling my rare/discontinued/hard to find Spohn polished Billet aluminum strut mounts. I've had these on the car for the past 4 years, and absolutely love the look that they have provided in my engine bay. The are a crown jewel of my shaved engine bay. I recently took on a sponsorship requiring me to change to a different design mount.

These are excellent condition! I polished them up quickly before boxing them up. The upper spherical bearings were replaced about 1k miles ago. I haven't seen a set of these come up for sale in about 4 years since I bought these. These didn't sell really well, because the initial cost was much higher than the steel version that Spohn sold at the time. Even Spohn doesn't have a set anymore...

If you are looking to increase performance and good looks in your engine bay... BUY THESE.

$450 shipped in the US. Get with me if out of the country for a shipping qoute.

Why did you need to replace the spherical bearing? The reason I ask is because I have a set of Sphon's mounts as well. Since I installed them, I hear a knocking sound at low speeds when going over bumps and such. I've heard there was an issue with them in that area, but I installed my entire front suspension at the same time so I am not 100% certain that was the issue.

I found that the spherical bearing had some up and down play, and over a severe sharp bump it would knock lightly. traced it to that. Watch the bearing and bounce the suspension up and down... Hope it helps!

I can't confirm 100%, but the design of the mount hasn't changed from Spohn, just the material. They did offer them with their coil over kit way back, and I assume its the same as it was then and there wouldn't be anything that would change fitment. The fact its Spohn with Spohn lends it self to fitting like a glove though...
