FS a T-56 transmission, worked fine when pulled from a 94 Camaro Z28. Items included are Flywheel/Pressure plate, brake/clutch pedal assembly, torque arm mount, and factory shifter. Items needed are new hydraulic system because the line was damaged and clutch disc because it was damaged during removal from a local shop, otherwise tranny works fine. $700 OBO Good deal, need gone local pick up only.

I'll see if I can get a transmission shipping container from my buddy. Then we can see if we can make this work.

I am very interested in the trans and could make the trip down this weekend. How many miles were on the car and do you know if there are any synchro issues?

Not sure on the miles, but it shifted fine prior to removal. I'm on my way to the shop and I'll take a look.

How does a shop damage a clutch while removing a transmission?

It's called inexperience, the mechanic's that were removing the transmission had no idea how to remove a T-56 without removing the bell housing and they did not know that the clutch fork slides down of off the throw out bearing. So in turn they kept pulling on the transmission and with that pressure on the clutch splines, the clutch started to fracture and eventually broke in the center.

Not all shops know what they are doing, so now I have to fix there mistakes. I'm selling it for a customer because he wants to go to an automatic. All proceeds are going to the build.
