Are these bolt in ready Astro shafts? Any up to date pictures of the new available shafts? Same pricing?

Re: Jeep cherokee and Astro van steering shafts
Hi Robert, please send me a PM when you get a moment. My son purchased one of your steering shafts back on October 5th and we've had a lot of issues with the condition of the product. I rather discuss in private if possible. thanks

Re: Jeep cherokee and Astro van steering shafts
I just received my shaft from Robert. It was packaged really well for international travel, and is in great shape. Thanks Robert.

Re: Jeep cherokee and Astro van steering shafts
Received my shaft last weekend in good shape. Had a minor setback due to a "duh" moment on my part, but Rob was very responsive and available to help me. Part fit great, had a good finish on it, and I expect it to last a long time.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

Re: Jeep cherokee and Astro van steering shafts
This is one of the easiest and best modifications I've done to my car. I highly suggest getting one of these.

Rob,
What is the weight difference between the two shafts you sell?
And the pros/cons of going with one or the other?
thanks,

Re: Jeep cherokee and Astro van steering shafts
Thanks, but you're not answering my questions.
Can you please take each to a postal place and weigh them and report back actual weights? For someone who is weight conscious (track/race car) they might prefer a lighter one, even if it is just a pound or so.
Yes, I know the pros/cons of using either of these over the factory rag joint, I'm wondering what the difference is between the two shafts you sell. Do they both bolt right up or is there any work needed to make either one work? Anything else to note?
Thanks,
Costas

Re: Jeep cherokee and Astro van steering shafts
The Astro shaft is a little beefier than the Cherokee shaft. I honestly rarely sell the cherokee shafts anymore unless requested. The work is already performed to make them a bolt in gig. The Cherokee shafts are already separated and painted and the Astro shafts have been cleaned, flipped and rewelded. The last time I weighed them they were only a 1/4 of a pound in difference between the stock, cherokee and astro shafts.

Great info, thanks for sharing. I'd read the whole thread and did not see the specific answers!
