Car: 86 Camaro Coupe
Engine: currently building a 355
Transmission: unsure what it will end up with

86 2.8L T-5 Prom/PCU Serv. # 1227302
I have a good Prom from my 1986 Camaro. The car it comes from is a 2.8l v6 with a manual t5 transmission. If you need numbers or photos just ask and I will get them posted asap. Numbers listed on the outside are as follows:

You're better off junking it...
1. Most people are trying to get rid of their V6 cars/engines, not fix them.
2. The 302 isn't exactly the most user-friendly in terms of being able to be tuned.
3. I have been trying to sell mine for 2 years and haven't yet.
and 4. Anyone can pick up one from a junkyard for HALF of what you're asking for it. Why? See #1 and #2, and also see the fact that the part number ends in 302 and not 165 or 730...
Maybe try posting up the PROM code...
And no, I don't need one. I have one, as I said before. But I'm currently running on a MegaSquirt.

Thanks for the information and I would gladly sell it for less. I was just guessing at a price. I also thought I did post the Prom code..... Although to be honest I have no idea where to find it or what it is. I do not know anything about proms and just figured since I no longer need it I would see if anyone else wanted it. Can you tell me where to find the code and then I will post it?
