Re: Tbi tpi reprograming

I have done very little custom tuning for tbi, I do have a caprice 350/auto tune that work with the 1228746 camaro tbi ecm. The only tune I have done so far off datalogs for a tbi 350 is for the lt1 cam and vortec heads. Send me a pm if you like I will be more than happy to throw out a few options to try to help you out

Re: Tbi tpi reprograming

Hey tuned you guided me on the fix for my no spark wiring issue. As soon as funds permit I will be in touch for tuning. ZZ9 cam, new heads, no air pump but still stock tune.

Re: Tbi tpi reprograming

I've swapped my TBI over to TPI. The swap is a fully ported TPI system. 58mm throttle body, ported plenum, ported Accel runners siamesed down 1.5 inches, TPIS Big Mouth intake base, port matched down to the cylinder heads, 113 Aluminum Corvette cylinder heads with stock valves, CompCams XR258HR-10 cam (08-408-8), 1.5 ratio roller rockers, 19# injectors.

I have a tune in it from another tuner, we're on our 2nd tune and it still doesn't seem to run quite right. Just shopping around for another source to get a tune from. I may just have it dyno tuned locally but would save the money if possible. What kind of pricing would you do this one for? All I would need is the BIN file, I can burn the PROM myself. I'm just no good at the tuning part. I can even datalog for you and send the log files as an excel spreadsheet so we can dial in the tune. I wouldn't be looking for this until the weather here in Ohio clears up after the Winter has passed.

Re: Tbi tpi reprograming

I have an 89 GTA convertible 350 TPI auto. Installing 5 SPD from 87 TA. 350 is stock. I plan on removing EGR, installing headers and doing head work later etc...Do you need my ECM or do you just sell the PROM? Should I use my 350 ECM or the ECM from the 87 TA 5 SPD. I still have whole car....

Re: Tbi tpi reprograming

Feel free to send me a personal message, I can reprogram the memcal chip out of either ecm. With headers the o2 often cools down and will not go into closed loop at idle. You might want to consider a heated o2 like a acdelco afs-74
