BRAND NEW: Edelbrock TES Headers
Whats up Thirdgen,
Up for sale today is a set of BRAND NEW Edelbrock TES Headers. These have never been installed on a car and are still in the same box that they came in! If you buy these headers you will be getting them exactly as Edelbrock would have sent them to you with all of the information on installing and all the proper bolts and gaskets to complete the install.
There are a few minor marks on the headers but there is no physical damage what so ever. Edelbrock recommends that you coat these headers before installing them anyway to prevent rust. After a coating none of these marks will be visible.
I am asking $275 for these.
Here are the pics:

Re: BRAND NEW: Edelbrock TES Headers
I do not believe that this setup came with the Y pipe. The instructions and parts list make no mention of a Y pipe, but instead using the existing exhaust in the car to slip into these two extension pipes. I can post some pictures of the instructions and parts list if you would like.

This is part of the Edelbrock T.E.S. system, (tuned exhaust system?), however I think it's been discontinued. My original Edelbrock y pipe is fairly restrictive "looking", its been debated several times throughout TGO ( search "edelbrock headers".)
I know Dyno Don had posted that he could make a replacement for the Edelbrock Y pipe, dunno if it ever came about.
FWIW, I like my edelbrock TES system. Nice sound, good performance, no restrictions that I can "feel". Changing #5 and #7 plugs are a PITA tho...
EDIT:
After re-reading the OP, I see that it's got 1 extension, looks like for the drivers side. Maybe that's what mine is, because I have a weld right in the same area. I've always thought that I had an "edelbrock" y pipe because of the very restrictive looking entrance to the single cat. I've seen pics posted here on TGO of the Edelbrock Y pipe and mine looks identical, and I thought that my weld was just a fitment issue with the aftermarket Y.
Curious to see what the original instructions say- as this system looks like you just modify the drivers side of the stock Y, and bolt to the stock left side.
Gonna have to search out some pics of an original stock y pipe into cat converter. Not sure what's on my car now...
Apologies for the hijack, was tryn to be helpful.

Re: BRAND NEW: Edelbrock TES Headers
These headers have already been sold but for the sake of providing some information I am posting all the information for the headers. These headers are specifically for dual cat setups. I do not believe there is a y pipe for this setup. There is one extension pipe that comes with the kit that is not pictured in this thread.
Anyway here are the pics of all the information that came with the headers.

Ok. The set I have on my 89 came with 4 pieces. 2 headers 1 extention pipe and a Y pipe. Didnt know they made a different set up. They are gone anyway. I think I may of found another set for my 90. Need to check dyno don about his Y pipe set up.
