T56 Ceramic Race Clutch (LT Style)
Hey all, I have a lt1 style t56 clutch kit. It's a ceramic, non-sprung hub, paddle style clutch.
I had it in the vehicle for maybe 1,000 miles (a bunch of that freeway). It looks brand new. The pressure plate surface looks perfect, and the clutch disk doesn't even look all the way broken in to me.
I'm selling it because I drive this car to work everyday, and it's a pain in the butt in traffic.
It's EXTREMELY strong. I had it behind a pretty built 400SBC, and it had more than enough holding power to grind the engine to a halt, pretty much instantly.
I don't remember which one it is, but it's supposed to be good for like, 700HP.
It does not come with the throwout bearing, so you'll need to grab one from an autoparts store or whatever.
These are at least $800 new I think, so I figure $300 is fair, since it's (lightly) used, and needs a bearing.
I can ship for cost, I have boxes lying around.
