30 Spline, 2200-2600 stall converter

Came with a transmission I picked up from a member here. The seller stated the transmission had 5k miles on it and the converter is from roadrunner. It's 12" converter (stock diameter) 2200-2600 stall and according to roadrunner's website is good up to 500 HP.

Here is a link to the website.
http://www.roadrunnerconverters.com/street.htm

Selling because I am going with a smaller converter with a higher stall.

New $145, I am asking $75 OBO. Willing to ship at your expense.

Thanks!
Will

Might be interested as well. Contacting mfr to find out if it has the lockup feature.

Also, anything on the convertor itself to verify what it is? Roadrunner makes a couple versions of its TH700R4 convertor: stock replacement, tow master, and street performance.

Meanwhile, what will shipping be to 44077?

FYI, The converter in a box weighs approx 45lbs so shipping is a bit higher than I'd have guessed.

Shipping to that zip would be around $44 parcel post through usps, Fedex and UPS are up over $50

Well according to AJ at roadrunner, it is a lock up.

I have to say that I am surprised, I figured it wouldn't be.

I noticed it was asked if the converter has any identifiers, it does have GM HD faintly on the front of it.

Re: 30 Spline, 2200-2600 stall converter

That may have been my request for info. I was told there is a part number stamped on the transmission side and on the engine side it has the builders ID, date, and serial number.

We're they able to verify its the street performance converter?

If it is, I'm def still interested as long as shipping doesn't make it more worthwhile to buy new.

Re: 30 Spline, 2200-2600 stall converter

On the Trans side written is: GM HS HD

Which I would guess means High Stall Heavy Duty.

Engine side is has stamped:

J3 30 9
20

I didn't know any of that information, I simply called them and asked if there GM 2200-2600 Converter was a lock up.

Thanks! Emailed the info to Roadrunner so they can tell us exactly what it is. They respond pretty quickly, so we'll probably know tomorrow.

Roadrunner confirmed the converter is for a 1985 and newer 700R4/4L60/4L60E transmissions and has a 2200-2600 rpm stall range.
