Parting out entire 83 Camaro Z28 Engine/Drivetrain components
Parting out entire 83 Camaro Z28.
Everything is up for grabs.
Engine, trans, accessories, carb, differential, smog equipment ARE all available.
Car is a carbureted 83 Z28 with 350 and 5-speed manual.
Look very closely at the pics; Not all parts are original.
Car is mostly complete...
Has an aftermarket sway-bar front and rear (although I don't know the make/model). Appears to have lowering springs and limit straps.
Brake rotors, calipers, tie rods, steering box, etc are all there.
Engine is a 350 from a 76 or 79 Corvette (don't remember which year). Has all the corvette accessories, but your 305 accessories will bolt right on. Casting is a 3970010.
Rear differential is GM 10-bolt with POSI and Rear Disc brakes. Believe gears to be 2.73 (again, will have to check for sure). Will be sold complete... will not part out brakes.
Willing to ship any part (at your expense).
I also have Exterior and Interior posted in the other forums.
Too many parts to possibly list a price for each one.
Tell me what you want, Make me a reasonable offer, and it's yours.
Send me an IM or email me at kevin.knight@juno.com
Paypal is generally preferred (account transfer please, because of 3% fee for CC transactions), but I will take most forms of payment.
Pictures: (more available upon request)
All new and current pics are posted here:

I'll have to disconnect it and try jumping it directly.
Keep in mind these suckers are heavy, and I don't get a corporate shipping discount. But if it checks out, and you still really want it. I'll send it to ya.
Stay tuned.

I changed my mind. I am also selling the differential.
Rear differential is GM 10-bolt with POSI and Rear Disc brakes. Believe gears to be 2.73 (again, will have to check for sure). Will be sold complete... will not part out brakes.
Make an offer. I'll also put them up on craigslist...

Don't know the brand...
Measured with digital caliper:
Rear Sway bar is 21mm (about 7/8 inch)
Front is 33mm (somewhere around 1 1/4 to 1 3/8 inch)
Had a tough time getting a shot of the front one...

This is the Passenger side harness. It is in good shape.
No cuts. All wires are all there, but plastic cover is brittle and falling apart in places.

Re: Parting out entire 83 Camaro Z28 Engine/Drivetrain components
Driver side is mostly complete. I see no more than 3 wires that were cut, but I don't know what they go to.
Some Melted connectors
2 cut wires at top (black and green)
One cut wire bottom left (dark green?)
I thought these were cut wires to splice in the Coil, but it looks like it was a completely separate harness that was just taped alongside the original harness. Don't think it is original to the camaro. Driverside harness isn't hacked nearly as much as I thought.

Re: Parting out entire 83 Camaro Z28 Engine/Drivetrain components
This is a complete Dash Wiring Harness. It is Nearly Perfect shape.
The Only wires that were cut were the Radio Harness (I know, 'cause I cut the connector off myself when I sold the radio).
The rest is completely intact and in good shape.
