Lt1 t56 for sale
Much to my disliking I have to sell my t56 it was from another member and it has roughly 30k miles IIRC. Its the transmission with the bellhousing, theres also a pro 5.0 shifter I bought for 150. I paid 1350 total and I have had it on the crate ever since I got it, I just found out ive got a huge bill waiting for me at the machine shop and ive gotta get the motor in first so..... Trans has gotta go for now.
Looking for 1000 for the trans and a set of ls pedals, 1150 with the pro 5.0 shifter. I do not have the hydraulics for it since I was going to reuse my t5 stuff.
Local pickup preffered however if you would like to ship I can figure out a way to get it to a freight company for a quote I suppose and you would cover shipping.
Thanks for looking

Wish I could afford to buy it back from you. That was one nice tranny.

Re: Lt1 t56 for sale
I know im not too thrilled that its come down to this but the l98 has to be bored and the crank turned and now all new bearings and pistons, plus shop fees. Workin as an audio installer only gets me so far, if I tried to go at it by stashing money this project would take another 6 months atleast >_<
Hopefully it can go to a good build

Your price is certainly fair. How close are you to a major city?

Check out forwardair.com
I've had good luck with them if you have a station near you. Probably the cheapest commercial trucking company there is. I actually had good luck with uship.com. It's an ebay style shipping site. You put on your item. Truckers bid on the shipment. Cheapest shipping cost wins. It's pretty cool. Sometimes you find a trucker with a empty load and looking for anything to make the trip home less expensive.

85z,
You'll be getting a nice transmission. It was mine and I went LS1 before I had a chance to use it. Pulled it out of a very low mileage LT1 F-car.

Re: Lt1 t56 for sale
Yea it's residential unfortunately. But we could unload it with a couple of people that wouldn't of been a problem.

Re: Lt1 t56 for sale
I would be interested in this tranny. Let me know if it ends up being still available. I live in BC Canada but would be willing to take care of all the shipping requirements. Darren

Re: Lt1 t56 for sale
Hey z28kid ive been collecting quotes and I'm really not liking them to be honest, ballpark is around a grand which iis insane to me, I've never shipped freight and it costs more to go to a residential apparently if you can find a company that won't kill you on shipping Id be more than happy to go through them

Re: Lt1 t56 for sale
To bad you weren't in like Missouri and east wards, cuz my grandpa owns a expiditing company but we normally don't go to the west coast. Which sucks lol. Maybe my grandpa knows someone that might be out that way and can grab it. I'll check and get back with you.

Yeah....I met you half way. You can do the same for the east coast crowd. They'll meet you at the Mississippi River. Do it!!!!
