New LT1-B/Vortec Cam for sale
Brand new, never-run cam pulled from my new GM Vortec crate motor.
Identical to LT1-B cam, except the Vortec version doesn't have the longer dowel pin that you would run with an Optispark distributor. It's ready to go for any Gen 1 roller motor.
This cam is a torque monster and pulls past 5000 rpm in a 350. It would be an even better cam for upgrading a 1987 and later (roller lifter) 305.
$50 + shipping.

Yes, I have it. If your 305 is a factory roller cam motor, then yes it will work very well.
In my opinion it's a better choice for the 305 than for the 350. Mild for a 350, but killer torque. In a 305, you probably could not find a better cam for torque and it will still rev to high 5000's.
Edit: Specs are 192I/196E duration at .050 tappet lift, 111 deg LSA, .420I/.430E lift w/1.5's, .448/.459 lift w/1.6's.

any tuning required with it you think? ive been lookin to get a chip burnt neway, but if i got it taylored to the cam itd be better. im planning on getting some 1.6's neway so i guess that would work great. i was also going to get some elgin valve springs as well. what would shipping be to 59853 ?

Well, it definitely falls into the "tuning not required" category of cams; however, I would consider tuning as important as any cam change.
