i have a near new stroker motor. 89 350 roller block with a jegs 383 kit, comp cam, lifters, push rods, edelbrock aluminum heads, roller tip rocker arms. this is a complete long block that has less than 2 hours of run time on it. i no longer have any of the machine shop paperwork on the rebuild. this motor was built for a project car that never got finished. the motor was built for california and everything is smog legal. 2500.00 obo-picked up in bakersfield, ca 93314. shipping can be arranged with buyer paying for motor/pallet and crating fee. email ron09517@aol.com

This has nothing to deal with your engine. But, I used to live off of Weed Patch Highway in Bakersfield. My grandpa used to own a guitar shop named Guitar Doctor off of Niles. And my grandma lives on Eucalyptus Drive. And my brother lives somewhere there but I forgot where exactly. My dad used to play at a nightclub named Trouts all the time. Sorry about the hijack, but I havn't seen anybody here from Bakersfield on TGO.

how you doin? trouts is still there, the owner just celebrated his 50th year of ownership. the guitar shop on niles!! i haven't been on the east side of town in a long time and don't remember if that place is still there.
i think we have 3-4 TGO members from bakersfield

Yea I still believe Trouts is there. But, I havnt been there in 2-3 years. My grandpa owned that guitar shop, but he recently passed away so it is closed. But, it might still have the sign up. If you have ever heard of the Bakerfield Sound, then you probably of heard of Gene Moles(my grandpa). He used to work at the old Mosrite Plant. They used to make guitars. He played with a lot of people out there. Merle Haggard, The Ventures, can't remember them all. In Bakerfield there is Gene Moles day. I think it is April 14th.
