Check engine

1984 Camaro with a carb swapped 350 tbi my question is the check engine light stays illuminated and obviously the car is running great! My question is there a way I can make this light work as a warning light like it was intended? I'm not sure what the connection looks like but it's not attached to anything so I would assume that's why the light is always illuminated
I believe this is run by the the ECM any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: Check engine

I just wrote out a post - that honestly didn't apply to what you have.

If your running Carb Swapped TBI than your obviously not using an ECM. This diagram shows how your 84 dash harness and Light Driver Module operates.

Since you ado not have a factory Carb, I'm guessing that you also don't have a factory distributor and you also probably don't have any factory emissions. Since those are most of the things the ECM checks,.... what exactly do you want the CHECK ENGINE light to report to you ??

Re: Check engine

Nope,...

You'll need to deal with the C100 firewall connector on the drivers side for that stuff. Here Ya' go:
