Accesory Power Isnt working
I've recently purchased a 1986 with the 2.8 and a 5speed. Today I was swapping out my passenger door because the one installed when i bought it was dented to hell, new door is on but i screwed up. While removing the door, due to a combo of stupidity and sleep deprivation i snipped the wires running to the door for the power door locks and power mirror controls.(the new door doesn't have a power lock actuator) Now my 12v plug in doesn't work and the jerry rigged fuel pump switch from the previous owner's attempt at replacing the fuel tank doesn't work. I'm not great at the wiring side of automotive so I need some guidance in my fixing my screw up.
These are the wires I cut

Before you replace the blown fuse you need to properly splice those wires back together, or at least tape off the ends (on the car side) to keep any from touching when the new fuse restores the power.

The cut wires themselves are why your door lock and mirrors don't work. The other stuff that don't work is because of the fuse that blew when you cut the wires (presumably more than one at a time?)

I'm not gonna go gettin all preachy on ya here, but you really should put that circuit back to proper functioning, no matter what it takes to do so. Thing is, in stock form (except for the startup two second prime) the fuel pump only runs when the engine runs. Why is this important? God forbid your ever in an accident bad enough to damage the fuel lines and get them to be leaking, the hotwired pump will continue running even after the engine quits from lack of fuel, and will pump lots & lots of gas onto an already bad situation. Remember, normally if the lines get broken the engine will quit, stopping the pump, and with your setup the fuel won't stop till the switch gets turned off, something someone knocked out from a bad crash's impact will not be able to do.
Like I said, not preachy or Doom & Gloom, just something to be aware of. Here is your engine wiring diagram, including the fuel pump circuit;

Now that we've discussed how to handle the wires, next up is this business of the hotwired fuel pump.

Cool
Here is a link to pretty much all of the wiring diagrams for our cars, a nice free resource I've been using for years.
