Installing heat from scratch?
Not alot of information regarding installing heat on a 3rd gen from scratch so wondering if someone could tell me whats needed. Currently i have 91 camaro 383 swapped with absolutely nothing heating or ac related, i have gathered up a ac delete housing and blower motor from agm but am in need of everything else so if anyone on here would be kind enough to leave me a list of what im missing and or just suggestions i may find helpful along the way would be much appreciated!

Re: Installing heat from scratch?
Find a 90-92 parts car. V6, TBI, TPI doesn't matter
Take all the underdash stuff and mini-harness that passes through the firewall
Transfer the AC blower resistor to the non-AC box along with the blower/cage (mods required)
Swapping the blower fan/resistor solves the 3vs 4 spd changes in the wiring
The difference between AC vs non-AC underdash box/ducting etc is not significant enough to justify sourcing the incredibly rare non-AC parts
If you want one stop-shopping and don't mind paying a little more then get a universal hotrod heater only box

Re: Installing heat from scratch?
Thank you very much for this just what i was hoping for! I do have one more question for you though if possible, but as you said the non ac parts are very hard to find and boy have i learned that the hard way however if i did manage to find them are they all compatible? What i mean by this is if i found a non ac hvac panel yet had a inner heater box for one with ac would it still work or must they be the same (non ac box and controls)?
