Converting my 88 to the 89+ 3 wire OPSU
I'm converting my 88 over to the 89+ 3 wire setup above the oil filter. I am a bit lost though, on the wiring. I looked in the manual for my 88 and for a 92 and the only wire they share is orange. My 88 has an orange and a tan/white. The 92 has orange, a grey and a tan. I am assuming the tan is for the gauge and the other 2 are for the ECM and fuel pump?
I brought my tan wire down near the oil filter and bought the 3 wire pigtail and 3 wire sender but I am confused on the colors.
My 3 wire pigtail has Orange, a tan and a white wire.
Here are some pics:

Hi Nutro,
From what I see in your pic, the orange & grey should be the pump and the tan should be the gauge. Tell me, is the tan wire a smaller gauge than the other two?
PS,
The best way to determine which is which is to plug the sender into the connector and using an ohm meter find which wire has continuity to the sender's metal piece that screws into the block. Only the gauge wire will have continuity to ground, the fuel pump wires will not have a reading to ground
