The quest for under hood switched ignition

The quest for under hood switched ignition
Found at the junkyard, on an 86 Firebird 2.8 car that had live a rich and full life: No guarantees this fusible link/holder belonged to this car (which curiously had ground effects and other goodies for what appeared to be a base model car).
What I found interesting was the potential for a switched ignition source under the hood of my low option LG4 T/A.
I found it plugged into the same (A/C?) harness as shown, connected to a under hood lamp that went straight to ground.
The red wire in my car is hot at all times, perhaps different in that Heinz 57 car.
I have been looking at factory schematics for hours and heaven forbid C100 documentation and I’m not convinced I’ve identified this red wire.
Is it plausible to connect the indicated red wire at the interior fuse panel to switched ignition?
It appears thus fusible link I’ve found housed a fuse as well? Any idea what it might’ve been? It shares the same diameter as a typical glass fuse, but that would be almost 2x longer.

Re: The quest for under hood switched ignition
Red in general is battery throughout the car. Hard unfused batt to be specific. Fused batt in the cabin for cig lighter, interior lights, radio memory, etc. is orange.
That red wire is of course battery as well. It's the feed to the blower high speed relay. So no, not really possible to do what you ask. Although I suppose with enough pairs of dykes, practically ANY act of sodomy becomes "possible", while remaining SODOMY.
That fuse holder was for an optional under-hood light. It's battery. Musta got its batt from the high speed feed.
Pink is switched ignition. You'll probably find it plugged into the distributor. Big fat pink wire.

I’d do just about anything rather than cut the harness (there’s not one wire cut in this car that I’ve found). What about an oil pressure switch, powered by said red wire, via the under hood lamp harness with the fusible link and fuse (I found to be an sfe6) as switched power?
I’m only looking to power the relay coils for the cooling fans. That way I can pull it all out and go back to the clutch fan if I choose without one cut wire?

If all you want is to power a relay coil, find a pink/blk wire. That's the circuit the factory used for that.
