ANOTHER wiper motor thread.
Having trouble getting the pulse working on my wipers again. It worked fine for a while, then got spotty, sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn't. I could turn them on pulse, and they'd be fine for a few days, and then randomly stop in the middle of a wipe. High and Low work fine, Mist works, they park fine. I pulled the cover and replaced the caps with the values in OrangeBird's thread, although it looked like someone had already done the job before me. Same behavior. I unhooked the plugs, and tested the switch, everything checks out. This morning I built some test leads and tested the motor directly. Everything works, except when I put power to pulse, I get a single click and nothing else from the motor. Same behavior if I use the switch on the stalk. One click, nothing else. Aside from the capacitors, are there any other common failure parts on the board?
EDIT: I got bored and just reflowed all of the solder connections, that ended up fixing it. Must have just been a broken one somewhere.

Re: ANOTHER wiper motor thread.
It did not look as if the Electrolytic Liquid leaked out from the Capacitors onto the PCB at all?
Maybe some loose, cold or cracked Solder Joints...
Did you Wick away any old Solder, or just add Flux and Heat to ReFlow?

Re: ANOTHER wiper motor thread.
Nope, all of the caps looked brand new, that's why I think they were already replaced once. I wicked the old solder when I replaced them, but when I just reflowed everything else, I just went around the board and fluxed/reheated everything and then cleaned it up. I'm guessing one of the other joints had just cracked over time. We'll see how long it lasts.

Re: ANOTHER wiper motor thread.
You don't have a Micro-Center anywhere near you in CT...
But if you drive down towards the South West Border (NYC) there are like 6 in the area.
Google Maps shows that the Closest location to you (which is the one I usually use) is Yonkers, NY...
It shows almost 2 hours of driving...
BUT THAT MUST BE WRONG
I used to drive from that part of NY up The Merritt CT-15 to Springfield, MA in 1 Hour 45 Min.
