Truck-Lite LED Projector Headlights

Truck-Lite, which has been making LED Reflector headlights for many years and has quite a following, Buddy, has recently increased its arsenal with LED Projector headlights. They're a bit unusual looking, so they may or may not appeal to many people, but, at least, they're worth documenting here, for reference, as more modern headlights that should fit 3rdgens. They're so new that I can't find any test videos of them yet, and few links for sales, but I have found them on ebay.

There are two 4x6 models, one low beam and one high beam, for 4-headlight systems. And a 5x7 low/high beam for 2-headlight systems. Each size is also available with a "heated" lens for cold climates. Oh, Buddy again!

The links are from Truck-Lite's website.

Re: Truck-Lite LED Projector Headlights

For the right price, I would jump at a non-plastic reflector housing that would fit the bucket without mods and accept an LED bulb.
Less current draw, no relays, no driver modules - just plug & play.
But I have a Trans-Am with the 5x7 assemblies, so I don't know if hi/lo beam LEDs even exist to do this.

Re: Truck-Lite LED Projector Headlights

Trucklite has been working on these for a few years, I called about 2-3 years ago and got the part number, 37450C, but there wasn't a product to go with it until about a year ago, lol. So when they finally dropped it I called them on it to get more info, as you said, there is ZERO info on them out there. I have the reflector 27450C and am more than happy with them, but wanted to know, being a new product, how much better these were than what I have, or even JW Speakers. Not that I get a kick out of spending $$, lol, I just love the LED stuff that has hit the market and don't mind upgrading if the change is dramatic. The gentleman I spoke to said if I am happy with the 27, then just keep my money and stay with them. The beam has maybe a closer JW style with their sharper cuttoff, as is the projector style. I also noticed the price is slightly cheaper in the 37...

I called and messaged Headlight Revolution asking them if they got their hands on them to try yet, they have not. I enjoy their videos as you can at least see and compare the beam patterns between lights and judge yourself. I wanted to see the 37 beside both their 27 and JW lights.

I still would love to see a set of these, I want to see the beam pattern and how they stack. I will admit I am on the fence look wise with the 'spider eyes' projectors have, and like the subtle look the reflector has with Trucklite, but also being popup lights on 'birds, it isn't a big deal(breaker).

I still say, out of the mods I have done to the car over the years, the Trucklites are up there as one of my top, they make such a huge functional difference. Guess thats why a tiny part of me is being greedy seeing if I can get even more, lol. But for anyone thinking of a lighting upgrade and don't mind the look (of either a reflector or projector) my personal opinion is that it is highly recommended on the upgrade list.
......someone needs to get the 37450 Trucklites so I can see the light shots, HAHAHA
