Re-pinning connectors, tools, etc. etc.
Did a search and found a few vague references, but wanted to ask a more direct question.
Sooo I know the plastic connectors that are all over our cars are fairly simple. A tool depresses little clips on the pin, the pin slide out, and then you either put that pin in another slot, or crimp a new pin onto a new wire, depending on your needs. In my specific case, I'm installing a hotwire kit to my new Aeromotive gas tank. I'd like to use the existing tank side 3 pin connector from the factory, but add heavier gauge power and ground wires on the tank side.
The Question: Do ALL our connectors, all over the car use the SAME tool to remove the pins, or are they different? I'll have other places I'd like to repin/rewire, and I figure they're good tools to have. I'll also need the actual pin pieces as well. Anyone got any links???

According to the Delphi product catalog those Weather-Pack terminals are rated from 0-20 Amp depending on wire size. If you need to carry more than 20A per terminal then need to talk about upsizing to a different series of connector.

Any tricks/hacks to crimping 10/12 gauge? ...or the seals??? ...I've found some hobbyist (me) level crimpers that are pretty inexpensive, but I can't find any that do 10/12 gauge, AND have a the seal crimps too. Now these are cheap, around $20 bucks or so, so I suppose buying one of each will be worthwhile in the long run, but still. Any hacks? -or do we just spend the money on tools!!??!! I do love my tool buying!!!!

Only 2 Crimpers are needed to be able to handle (Crimp) almost all (90%) of the Connector Types used in our Cars.
It is the best $200 Investment you can make, for servicing the Connectors in our Cars.
Crimper #1 For Crimping the Wire Conductor in the "B" shaped Dies, and the Wire Seals in the "O" shaped Dies:

Komet, that looks like a decent kit. For THIS go around, with my tank connector, I actually found a 3 wire weather pack already assembled with 10ga wire, so I bought it. Cheapest way to go, AND it's all ready to go. Once I get to the engine side of this project though, I do forsee making several new connections, and I'll probably pick up something similar to that kit.

There are Two other Terminal Extractors that will be need required for the Connectors of Our Cars:
-Delphi: #12094429 and #12094430:

Vortec, our PMs and posts are like two ships crossing paths in the night!!! LOL
....but I'm definitely looking into some higher quality tools when it comes time for the engine. ...I'm specifically hoping to make multiple wire "connector" for my custom Speedhut gauge cluster, so I only need to unhook one connector and then remove the whole assembly like normal. More on that later.

I'm sure a lot of you remember the electrical wizard Pocket? (Jon). Anyhow, I'm fortunate enough to have him as local friend here in NC. He's helped me in the past with plenty of electrical info, and he just replied back to me on FB with a lot of similar into. Thanks to everyone responding. I appreciate the help.

I just finished using a generic weatherpack 3 pin connector to do the same job you're planning on. Just FYI to look at the existing pigtail and your new one and compare the slots in the weatherpack connector. The slots need to be there on the new one too or else it won't plug up snugly into the car-side weatherpack female connector. I ended up using a hacksaw on mine to add the slots to the new connector.
