Keyless entry/Alarms for 3rd gens
We have 3 different systems available to add keyless entry to your 3rd gen Camaro or Firebird. As long as your car currently has working door locks and trunk release all 3 systems are fairly easy to add. We use Prestige alarms which have been around as long as 3rd gens, these are modern advanced systems thou. We include 3rd gen specific instructions with wire colors and approximate location of the needed wires. To make the install easier we cover the wires you don't have to use in the harness before the system ships. All the systems include relays for door locks and trunk release if selected.
The first system starts at $119.95 - it's perfect if keyless entry is the main thing you want. It only needs 6 wires to be hooked up on your car so easier than a radio swap. You can lock/unlock the doors and open the hatch from the remote. It can also be upgraded to an alarm later on if you want by adding sensors.

The next system starts at $149.95 and in addition to keyless entry it also has impact sensor, ignition disable, multi-tone siren, illuminated entry (dome light comes on when you unlock the doors) and 2 auxiliary outputs.

Our top of the line system has a 2 way remote with up to 2500 foot range. The digital display will let you know your alarm is going off, which is good if you inside a store or restaurant. In addition it has also has all the features of the other systems. This system is $219.95 - pictures below are this system.

Have any RDL Systems that are Marine-Grade or preferably with Weather-Proof/ Sealed Electrical Connections?

The system with the 2 way remote also has a timer and alarm on the 2 way remote, it also includes one of the smaller remotes. We recently installed this system on our '83 Z28 and will be making a video showing more of the features of the system.

This is pretty cool. Been looking at putting something in the car now that we're back on the road. Looking for the basic for now (door lock/unlock). Is the basic system all under the dash? Do I need to get into the door panels at all? What's the "relay" do?
