Generic Digital Dash/screen options

On my 89, I was running Holley EFI. One of the best things about it was the ability to have a small screen right on the dash, which could be configured to display any parameter that was monitored by the Holley ECU. Obviously without the Holley system however....the screen was worthless. That being said, there ARE digital gauges available.....and one way or another, even our old school gauges still have to receive an input from a sending unit. .....is there any type of small, digital or LCD screen out there for general/generic use? Ideally I'd love to run a Speedhut speedo and tach, but have the other gauges all in one center screen/pod, and not have seperate gauges.

Why not run one of the othe Holley EFI dashes? They have other configurable input/outputs. Or theres the Racepak

Not planning to run the Holley EFI on this car, and I'm pretty sure it's needed to run the Holley dash/screens, right? I assume...never actually looked. ....and the racepak is a bit more money than I was looking at.

Maybe you missed it?

Voltage comes from the dash. Fuel is configurable input. Speed comes from the dash. Oil pressure is a configurable input. Water is a configuable input. All that's left is the tach, which I would think is something you could put into one of the configurable inputs.

Re: Generic Digital Dash/screen options

I know that the the ECU is configurable...thought that's what you meant. Soooo....there's a way to get the inputs from the various sensors in the Holley dash/screen? I'm certainly going to look at that. I plan to run a traditional tach and speedo, but would love the other's to be digital/screen...whatever you call it. I've found LOTS of different systems, but they are all either, proprietary, work only with aftermarket ECU's, or CANBUS.

I'm definitely gonng look into

OK, yeah.....Holley definitely DOES have standalone dash options. Not sure if they'd fit, and they're pricey, but you're definitely right. They're stand alone systems. Autometer has one too in fact.

Heh, I figured this was explainatory.

This is the 6.8" dash. I didn't realize they sold a "stand alone version"
