I swapped to carb and was wondering if the injector slots or others not used now on the panel could be used for an ign source now....say to power an electric choke ?

Generally, the ECM power ports (such as those for injectors) don't provide enough current to run an electric choke. Wire isn't large enough, switches or other devices that send power there don't have the capacity, fuses are too small, etc.

There's more to hooking something up than just whether there's 12V there when the key is turned wherever.

Same thing as other posts on this same subject have tried to tell you.

Thanks....I get all that and that’s why I asked ...I figured since it’s only for the injectors maybe it was a good source but it probably doesn’t supply a constant 12v.....Trying not to daisy chain multiple leads into one ign slot ....I need one for TC lock up, one for choke, one for the fuel pump , and 2 ign slots are already taken

You can most likely make your own power distribution off of the battery under the hood...
Then use a 30A to 50A relay that is triggered by the ignition circuit turning on.

Find an unused/ blank terminal location in the fire-wall bulk-head connector (C100 Connector)...
Then pass the wire through the fire-wall bulk-head, by adding a terminal to each side of the C100 connector.

Great info! Thanks! I just received my blue sea 6 blade terminal block with a 40 amp relay and circuit breaker in the mail today so hopefully I’ll get it wired up in the next few weeks

The injector feeds are, I believe, 20 gauge wire with 10 amp fuses. What does the book say was used for a carb car for the electric choke?
