Stripped headlight gear how to get up for replacement
Every video I look at and everything I read shows how to replace the motor or gear once you get the light up. I can't get it up with the manual **** and it doesn't come up at all normally. I've tried pulling with my hand as the motor spins automatically, but it didn't budge one bit. Is there any other way to possibly get it to come up?

It will come up, you've just waited a bit too long to do the repair and have turned a one man job into a 2-person job. Have someone press on and off the headlight switch while you shake, bang lift and curse the headlight bucket lid. It will suddenly rise if you haven't run out of curse words. Once you FINALLY get it to raise you'll be able to follow the instructions that come with the kit.

I just took the head light assembly off the car when I did mine and painted all the little parts before putting it back together.
Mine would come up if I pulled up slightly as I turned the manual ****.
