Wiper motor problem

Just got my 92 RS on Saturday and it has a few bugs to work out...

The wipers work, along with the washer fluid. The problem is the wipers are SLOW. Like maybe 1/2 or 1/3 of the normal speed of each setting. I put it on hi and it's slower than the low speed should be.

Is this something fixable or do I need a new wiper motor? Never had to work on a wiper motor in any vehicle I've owned.

Gain access to the module on the left side of the firewall in the wiper motor assembly.

The connectors you will be disconnecting is the 2 pin connector going to the motor, and the 1 pin connector going to ground.

Insert a voltmeter in line with the 2 pin connector
purple wire and ground for measurement #1.

Insert a voltmeter in line with the 1 pin connector
gray wire and ground for measurement #2.

Keep the wipers switch in the OFF position, and put the ignition key in the ACCY position.

What are the voltage measurements you observe when you have the voltmeter in line with those pins?
