head light problem
hey guys, can someone tell me what might be wrong here, I got this harness made for my 89 RS, anyway when I pull the leaver to dim the lights nothing really happens, all four lights stay on, people are getting pissed with four lights coming at them, you can see in the video what is going on, only a couple of times did just the low beams stay on, do you think I needs a new dimmer switch? or maybe adjustment? any info will help please.

On the diagram it shows a fuse for over-wattage bulbs.
If you’re using those that’s one reason drivers will flash you.
The problem of the Hi-Beams coming on when not wanted might be due to the stock dimmer switch out of alignment with its actuator rod.
If you have tilt steering make sure that is operating with no play.
You can adjust the Dimmer by loosening the hardware at the bottom of the column, then slide it into position, tighten it then test with stalk, then readjust as required.
