Mechanical Speedo to Electric Gauges
I have an 1986 Camaro and put an 92 Camaro dash in. I'm ordering new gauges from Summit, the New Vintage USA gauges. I am going to make housing for the gauges to fit in.
But my question is how to change mechanical speedo to these electric style gauges.

Re: Mechanical Speedo to Electric Gauges
You need to convert from a mechanical takeoff on your transmission, to an electronic one- the VSS (vehicle speed sensor). Speedo will work off signal from the VSS. If you ever come across "Pocket", he knows this stuff backwards and forwards.
