I put 12v to the Tan/wht wire that goes from the fuse block to the FP and the FP runs that way. I have power to the oil pressure Tan/wht and i forget the other color wire Brown? Put it wont Prime! fuses are checked but i dont have one near the battery? am i missing that? Please help so i can get it to the painter

Re: Fuel pump HELP PLEASE
The fuse by the battery powers the fuel pump and the ECM. If it's missing it was probably deleted by the guy that changed it to carb.
Did the carb setup run on a mechanical fuel pump and you put the new fuel pump in the tank in order to restore it to TPI?

Re: Fuel pump HELP PLEASE
The ECM should have constant 12V at the orange wire on pin B1 fed by that fuse near the battery. The fuel pump relay wire you are talking about is an output for 2 second prime/cranking/running.

Yes it does have power on the orange, so if i place a test light on the Green/wht wire and turn the key i should see a light for 2 seconds? if not then what?

Re: Fuel pump HELP PLEASE
Ok today i pulled all the wire loom off the engine harness so can trace these dang wires-
I have a single Black/White wire thats cut- the main single wire from the ECM i guess, turns into a soldered bundle over by the Firewall that 1 goes to the engine block 2 goes to the fuel pump relay 3 goes to the maf burn off relay next to the fuel pump relay and the other is the one thats cut! can anyone tell me if this is where they actually go and where the other one thats cut goes please?
Thanks to anyone
