Steering Wheel - How does this come off?
Hello,
My turn left turn signal doesn't cancel, so I bought a new cancel cam and am hoping to install it today.
When I bought the car, it had an aftermarket Grant wheel on it, which I replaced. I just took the wheel back off, but I'm not sure how to continue - see attached pick.
Does this piece come off with a steering wheel puller? I think once I get that off, I have to depress the lock plate to the cancel cam. I have the lock plate tool and I have access to a steering wheel puller, I just want to make sure I do this correctly. Thanks.

yea mine had a grant one with the same piece your refering to, i had to gently tug on it with a puller to get it off, it just slides onto the splines on the steering shaft

Okay, thanks for the quick reply. I'm off to borrow the steering wheel puller so I can this.
I just realized that my horn has never worked, either - might be a good time to look into that as well although I don't know if I still have the stuff that came with my Grant wheel.
