MSD Cap and rotor kit =
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/msd-8406/overview/
I bought the same one as a replacement.
Maybe MSD has an economy line of products

Re: Cap and rotor
Did you put any dielectric grease on the center of the cap and middle of the rotor?

Re: Cap and rotor
No, I did not know you should.
If it will help keep this from happening than I will.
I've never seen a rotor cap or terminals in the cap look this bad.
Is the problem contained within the cap or could the Ignition Control Module and Pick up coil play a roll.
The module is about 6 years old and the pick up is most likely stock.
The main reason I ask is because Ive been looking for the cause of an intermittent stalling problem. It will stall at a light and then I have to tap the throttle when I go to start it again.
