Wire, and Connector ID
I have a 87 Trans Am. Originally came with a 305 4bbl. Vin code H. I have a chevy 350 that was in it carb, and I'm having the motor rebuilt, I want to clean up the wires in the engine bay, but can't id some of these wires.. Can anyone help me ID these connectors and tell me what there from or go to.. and if anyone has a wire schematic for my make and model that would be great...
This is the motor that was in it that is being rebuilt....
These are the connectors....

Re: Wire, and Connector ID
I'm not sure what most of the individual connectors specifically go to, but I do know that most of them were for the original engine to go to the ECM to control things like idle with AC, fuel mixture, things on the carb, etc. Most of those are not needed with your setup. Picture number 8 may be something for the AC/blower motor.

Re: Wire, and Connector ID
That's how I got the motor. I'm just trying to figure out this wiring before I get my motor back.. Had to have it zero decked, (the guy I got it from didn't do that),.. and I decided to get some kb pistons, and new connecting rods, crank was good... It was a new build, so nothing was worn yet... I do like the whine the cogged belt gives off...Can anyone post a picture of the alt. connector... I believe I know which one it is, but I want to make sure...
