91 formula 350 wont shut off with key
When i turn the key to the off position the car runs. Everything stays on as if i still,had the key in. I have to smother the intake and pull the battery cable every time. Any suggestions?

if I was gonna throw a guess out, id try the ignition switch under the steering column. does the key cylinder feel loose and/or bind? do you have all the positions when you turn the key (acc when you turn it towards you, off, run when you turn it away from you)?

do you have electric fans and a carb? ... if so, make sure the fans are not powered bu the ecu spot in the fuse box (or at least pull the fan plugs, and try to start is and shut it off) i know for a fact the fans can and will keep a carbed motor running with the key off if it is hooked to the right power
