Driver and Passenger Courtesy Lights Not Turning Off When Door is Closed
My 85 TA driver and passenger courtesy footwell lights are staying on when both doors are closed.
Am I correct to assume its the door jamb switch? Or would it be something else?
Assuming its the door jamb switch, anyone know how to swap this out or where to obtain a new pair for each door?
Thanks!

Ok, this may sound stupid, but first check that the instrument cluster dimmer switch is not locked in the max position. This will turn the interior lights on. If that's not the case, pull the kick panels and unplug the door switches one at a time and close the other door to figure out if it is one of the switches. If that isn't the case you will have to dig deeper. I would then start by unplugging the aforementioned dimmer( I believe it is separate from headlight switch on a bird) From then, it will be a little more involved with a voltmeter and testing for the white wire for door switches skinned or grounded somewhere.

Thanks for the response Joe Tag.
I did check the dimmer switch. It was not turned to max.
After checking out this thread (the exact opposite of what I am experiencing):

I decided to order a pair of door jamb push switches from GM Parts Direct.
I'll put those on and report back if that fixes my issue (fingers crossed).
