Need wiring and sensor help!
I have a 1987 5.7 TPI that need some help with. Old sensors were broken off. I got new coolant temp sensors at my auto parts store and was told one on the driver side was the two wire sensor and and one on the passenger side was the single post wire. Now that I am getting the wiring hooked up Im not sure?????
The first I think is the knock sensor. The one above, between the plugs,IS THIS A Coolant Sensor? and the two plugs that go to that side look the same . One is a white wire and the other is a black wire.

First pic is the knock sensor.
Second pic looks like a fan switch. Green wire with the white stripe from the fan relay should go there. Or the single connector with the green wire in your last pic.
Third pic looks like the connector for the knock sensor, but I believe thirdgens only had 1 knock sensor.
Next pic is the coolant temp sensor for the ECM. It looks like the intake temp sensor in the plenum because they are basically the same sensor, they just work over different temp ranges.
