A couple wierd issues Im trying to sort out.

Im trying to get the car on the road sometime thins year. Its been in the garage for the better part of 10 years. My electrical is what Im trying to sort out now.

I'm trying to hook up my reverse lights.

I took the two wires that are from the gear selector switch and hooked them to the reverse switch in the transmission. There is no reverse lights when i put it in reverse. I looked for a fuse that says reverse, apparently it is shared with another fuse. Heres a few things that are not working and a few mystery connectors.

first pic is from the shifter area. I know some of the wires connect to the E brake, the other is for the airbag, but whats the 3 prong orange wire with constant power?

Second pic is from under the hood in the hvac area. four pin mystery connector.

not working yet:
Turn signals(but there's no bulbs in front yet)
reverse lights
horn
hvac blower (haven't put the relay back in it yet, I converted to a ac delete box)

Heres is what I know works.

Headlights
Acc power
brake lights
hatch pull down

So anyway, I'm going to get the reverse working first and I need to know where the power comes from.

Does the tranny switch ground the lights? or does it transfer power to them?

Re: A couple wierd issues Im trying to sort out.

Ok so I think I have the reverse problem tracked down to the turn signal flasher. In doing so I think I also found the problem with the turn signals.

Anyone know what the connectors in the pics are for?
