Electrical-No power from batt to car/system dead

Came back to drive home from store and car had No Power! No dome, under hood, head, brake, or under hood light. Checked the following: 12.5v at batt/connected jumper cables- still no lights or cranking, buzzer etc./12.5v into and out of distribution block, all grounds-cables + & - good/cleaned terminals and cables. checked all fuses in fuse block/ also checked power to fuse block and found NONE. 91RS running a carb 350 hei 700-R4 w/o computer control except for the speedo and TQ lock up. This car has been running for 10 years in this configuration. What am I missing, does power go to the computer before the fuse block? Is ther a "main" fuse or link prior to the fuse block? I have never seen this before and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to all.

there is a fuse under the pass side fender next to the air filter may look good but may need to be cleaned

OK just thought about it more, area behind the pax head lights inside the fender? I swapped out the original TBI V-6 10 years ago and put my battery in that location. What does the fuse look like?
Thanks

Re: Electrical-No power from batt to car/system dead

No sweat, found the fuse/20amp it is clean and I am getting power to the connection. The orange wire goes "out" from the fuse connection to the computer I am guessing so I will ck for continuity or any additional fuses to the computer. Anybody else have any Ideas?
Thanks,
Roy

Everything gone dead sounds like a fried fusible link.

Re: Electrical-No power from batt to car/system dead

Checked the fusable links off the distribution block and there is 12.5 volts downstream of the two links connected. I also have 12.5v after the fuse located in/on the pax forward front fender. I'm guessing this may power the ECM/computer. Does anyone know if the ECM is dead should you have power to the head or any other lights, as they should be hot at all times. It is hard to tell with the schematics in the Haynes manual with each system diagramed individually. Tomorrow I'll keep trying but someone must have seen this before.
Thanks,
Roy

Bad VAT? I had my VAT bypassed with a piece of wire. If the wire was missing, nothing would work.

Re: Electrical-No power from batt to car/system dead

Thanks to all who replied. I solved the problem, note to all: bad connector at starter post supplying HOT into fuse box etc. There are 3 wires that have fusable links that connect to the starter post which the positive battery cable is also connected that supply Hot to the car ie: head, dome, underhood lights, fuse panel etc. I had no continuity touching the connector end and the wires downstream of the connector which could have been a fusable link failure but all three links would have failed, in this case after cutting off the connector, tying the 3 wire ends together, jumping power from the batt to the wires everything had power and worked. Really strange, could not pull connector off, but I had used a AWG auto wire connector @ 8 years ago with 3 fusable link wires tied to it, melted the plastic protector on it to seal it and I think the plastic somehow interfeared with the fusable link wire connectivity after a long period of time (8 years) Spring is here get your hot rods running and thanks to all.
