Speedometer swap, but not the normal question...
Hello all,
I have an LT1 swap, with a T5 (for now). The problem is that I have a cable driven speedometer, while I can swap to an electric one, I REALLY want to keep the stock look (1984, so it only goes to 85 MPH). So my question is, (1) can I purchase a 120 or 140 MPH electric speedometer, and swap the guts so I have a stock appearing gauge. (2) Is there a box somewhere that will allow me to custom calibrate the speedometer, since the sweep is going to be waaay off.
Perhaps something like this? http://www.transmissioncenter.net/sp...____va.htm#era

Actually just thought more about this...probably won't work, because then my mileage would be way off....
