Speedo, ign module questions

I am nearly done installing a fast xfi system for my 383 lt1. there are no T56 connectors for this harness nor does the computer have anything to do with it. How can I wire my Autometer speedo to the 1995 T56 i have? There is one signal wire that i need to connect from the speedo? Anyone have any ideas?

Also, my reverse lights are already hooked up through the original harness so i dont have an issue there. but wont have any of the other T56 connectors installed which i dont think will be an issues. or should i be concerned?

Also the fast harness does not have any connections for the stock LT1 ign module. Do i even need to hook this up? I have an MSD 6AL box and an MSD IGN Coil. I have the wiring down to hook these up and the points wire from the 6AL goes to the fast harness. is it ok to ignore the ign module? (this is the thing with the heat sink on it).

appreciate the help. thanks everyone.

The t56 is a magnets 4k output not sure what autometer you have but im sure a dakota digital sgi-5 might be worth looking into.

Re: Speedo, ign module questions

I'll have to check with speedo exactly but its a Phantom II Electronic Speedo.

I have no problem buying whatever i need to get this to work. I just want a working speedo lol. But i dont know how to go about this where the gauge is connected directly to the VSS connector on the trans or via a dakota digital unit.

Re: Speedo, ign module questions

This is the autometer speedo that i have:

http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugede...id=3797&sid=59

The instructions i received with the gauge are version 2650-1268-00

cant find this version online.

I can try to scan in the instructions i have and post a photo of it i guess...
