How to take apart ECM connector?
There are 2 clips on the sides, but it seems that it is still hung up somewhere. Does anyone know how to get this apart. I only want to retain my reverse lights. Can I "unpin" the wires the same way I did from the c100 harness.

Thats the bulkhead grommet and cannot be depinned. Your back-up lights dont go through that, they are in the C100
To get that off/apart go to the interior and remove the kick panel. Pull the plastic C-clip off anhd push the bulkead through. Use a heart gun to soften the sealant and slowly pry the connector halves apart then slowly pop each wire free of the comb shaped guide

Re: How to take apart ECM connector?
As always Pocket, thanks for the help. This is the C200 connector that I have in the pictures above??? The back-up lights come out of here on my car. (84 Firebird 5 speed) There is a blue and green with a pigtail that plugs into the trans. My diagram does show a green coming out of the C100 also.

Im not sure what the C200 is, but thats not it. Its simply a grommet, so you wont see it on any diagram
If you have an automatic then the back-up lights arent messed with unless you're cutting up the dash wiring. They're contained to the shifter connector. One is a fused 12v from the fuseblock, the other goes to the back-up lights. All of it is inside the cabin. Those start at the shifter and go back in the dash towards the fuseblock then along the drivers rocker, over the LR wheel well and to the tails
