vats repair
hey guys
i did a search and couldn't find anything thats helped !
i changed all of my locks including the ignition lock cylinder and the vats was by passed so i didn't need the key with the chip ! all i did waz change the old ignition lock cylinder and installed a new ignition lock cylinder with blank key ! and put the bypass cylinder back in place. i have power everything but the car dosent start or turn over i was thinkin the vats might have shut down the fuel or oil but my fuel pump kicks on when i turn the key ! they relay clicks whick i nere heard before on start up ! was thinkin i need to take the key to chevy and have them make a key bc the key i have now dosnet have a chip and iam out of ideas !
side note
the guy before me bypass the vats by putting a old ignition switch and matching key and plugged it in to the other end where i would plug in the normal switch in the steering colum but theres no fuse in the slot for vats on the fuseboard lol
side note 2
i was just gonna plug up the ignition switch i now have in the steering colum get a key made at chevy and plug the 10a fuse in and see if that solve the problem !
thanks in advance for the help !
