Fuse for gauges keeps blowing
The 10 amp fuse for the gauges keeps blowing as soon as I turn the key to run. I checked the grounds and they are good. What else should I be looking at?

Re: Fuse for gauges keeps blowing
God i went through hell with this. First off there a bunch of things on that circuit. Start by going in the engine bay and unplugging the egr solenoid, next unplug the air injection stuff. These are two common things that will cause it to blow. If that doesnt work Then the next easy one to hit is the cruise control servo. Also undo the little cover on the steering column (near the tilt leve) and unplug your cruise control harness... as soon as you undo the cover (which just pops off with some tugging) you will see the little connection im talking about. This wound up being my problem and i tore my entire dash out looking for why it kept popping. If these things dont work let me know, there are a few other things to check.

Re: Fuse for gauges keeps blowing
Thanks for the help, you saved me a lot of headaches. I traced the problem to a wire for the egr that was shorting to one of the heads.
