Automatic Shifter Plate Light?
Ok, I need to know EXACTLY what powers this little light.....
I have been trying to figure out why this....along with my HVAC lights, and my long gone factory radio display wont come on anymore since I put in a newly charged battery...
I have been trying my best over a year now to figure out what got fried from that battery.
I have already replaced these parts:
Replaced It, Doesnt Fix Anything...
Again, This Fixed NOTHING....
I have checked all fuses, they are all good, The bulb itself for the shifter plate has been replaced..
I dont know what to do, i pray to god its not a fried wire, because Im SOL if thats the case.
Any suggestions on why my little light wont come on anymore?

It sounds like replacing the battery caused a fusible link to blow, it would probably be a matter of tracing wires to see if you can find it, otherwise check your hayes, or chilton manual for wiring diagrams. In a worse case scenario, you would have to look at your headlight switch, check and try to trace the wire that goes to the affected lights, then if you cant find the fusible link, tap a wire into the parking light circuit and run to the dash and console for those little light bulbs. Good luck bro!!!

That's why I asked, I've tracked down that circuit before and posted a thread on how to fix it if it were the led's in the fog/hatch switches.

I know it has been a while since I responded to your post regarding this problem. However may I suggest that you check the gray wire leading off the back of the "INST LPS" fuse. This wire powers all the lights that you have mentioned. Also check the "INST LPS" fuse.
