Oil pressure and coolant guages pegged
As the topic states, these guages are constantly pegged.
I replaced the oil pressure sending unit and no change. There is no coolant temp sending unit on the head, just a plug...and the guage is still pegged.
Do I need to run a new wire for each of them? Are they pegged due to the sender wires being constantly grounded?
TIA.

There may be a problem with the wires to each guage being grounded. That should be easy enough to determine with a little measurement and diagnosis. It is also possible that the ignition switch has some contacts that are sticking in the BULB TEST position after cranking.
