Need Help with Autometer Tachometer Installation.

I know that autometer has free downloads for instructions for their models but I don't know what model mine is.

This tachometer is a 5" model that reads to 11K RPM. What I don't know is where the two dark colored wires go connected.

The tach has 3 wires, I know that one is for the light but the other two seem to be like the wires on your TV or toaster. One is smooth black and the other is textured (it has serrations all the way through.
I have included some pics if someone can help.
