I F-ed up, *** help me.

Trying to make that togge switch solution for my fans, but on my IROC the colors are different then shown in this widely circulated diagram:

Anyway, like a knuckle-head, I guessed at the wire to be grounded and obviously I got the wrong one. I figured that the worse that could happen is that I'd blow a fuse. Wrong.
When I grounded this *wrong* wire, the car suddenly died and it will not re-start. I checked all the fuses in the fuse box, all good. The car cranks but thats it. I did notice that the check engine light is not coming on when the key is turned on, only the security light. Did I blow up my ECM?
*** please help me, or anyone else who might know what the F I"m talking about....

So which wire was it you grounded?

On which relays (location)?

Can you hear the fuel pump priming before you crank the car?

More info...

The wire that I grounded was the brown wire with white stripe on the Primary fan relay. Just went down to the garage to check for fuel pump priming when key is turned, negative.

given that i dont know the wiring of your car by color off the top of my head....

what wire did you ground? the one that goes on the coil for the relay? on the fans?

you should be able to figure that out if your relay has the circuit printed on it. just look at the connector, it has letters, match that to whats on the circuit and tell me what wire you grounded...

It was the fan switch, same part # printed on it as in the diagram, and there is an identical switch mounted next to it, for the secondary fan I assume.
By looking at the printout on top of the switch like you said, I can guess that I gounded "C". That shows that it leads to the battery when closed, I think. Is there a fuse between the EMC and the battery that I might have blown?

If so, those are not fan relays, those are your MAF, MAF burnoff and Fuel pump relays. Your fan relays are on the pass fender next to the radiator.

Let me know here...

Viking, in answer to your question, yes there is a fuse between the ECM and the battery. It also fuses your fuel pump.
Check this thread.
