Hey ... Where'd My Post Go???

A few of you newbies have been making posts asking about custom eproms etc. This is NOT what this board is for. It is to learn EPROM BURNING and share EPROM tuning techniques.

ANYONE asking for a referal or an eprom to be burned will be DELETED INSTANTLY and WITHOUT explanation. Those are the rules since day one and they have never changed.

The reason is also very simple. There are SCUM SUCKERS out there that are just looking for fools that want a "custom eprom cheap". Well, after enough complaints and horror stories - we just don't tolerate these posts anymore. The only thing that will get burned, is your wallet.

EVERYONE who burns their own eprom will tell you that there is NO WAY you can burn someone an eprom "just on specifications". At BEST, you MAY get a half-assed starting point - but it is NOT going to be ANYWHERE NEAR OPTIMAL.

For those guys that are "too busy with school/work/girlfriend/family...or don't have enough money" - I am terribly sorry but you SHOULD have learnt to burn your own eprom BEFORE you modded your engine. The amount of time and effort needed to burn an eprom is not all that much. The more time you put into it, then the better the results for sure.

BUT PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR AN EPROM REFERAL OR TO HAVE AN EPROM BURNED !!!

And to the person that "Whined". I'm terribly sorry, but what part of "NO BEGGING FOR EPROMS" don't you understand?

No exceptions, no warning and no apologies. Everyone knows the rules...ask for an eprom...kiss your post good-bye.

I am in full agreement with Glenn. We use to keep the board much more 'tight'. In the past few months we both have been more forgiving. However, this board is solely for learning. Anything to do with buying and/or selling EPROMs will not be tolerated.
