EBL flash and 4l60E control
I've searched around here and different forums and I've seen people say that they have been able to use a modified ebl- flash computer (6299) for the engine control
and a stock ecu ( 4427) to control the stock 4l60e trans.by splicing and " sharing" the stock harness/sensors between the two computers.
But I cannot find any actual info on doing this.
Has anyone actually done this?
Or know of a way to allow the stock second computer to control the trans?.... aside from a very expensive stand alone programmable controller.
I guess the more simple question is;
How have people controlled their 4l60E, when tuning the engine (I'm not looking to tune or modify trans, shift points.etc).... burning their own chips or different methods?

Third gens don't have 4L60Es stock, but the easiest way to do this is to use an ecm that has trans control. 0411 swap, Holley Terminator X Max (and others), FiTech Ultimate TPI, etc. If you truly desire a stock operating 4L60E, just use a 700R4 instead and problem solved.
